Amersham Action Group celebrates

The Christmas Festival at Amersham-on-the-Hill in Buckinghamshire proved highly successful and included a small Farmers’ Market offering a range of festive goods, plus stalls serving drinks and food from local organisations. Local MP Cheryl Gillan, with Peter Pan and Wendy from the Elgiva Theatre pantomime, and the Mayor, Martin Phillips, plus the winner of the Christmas Light Competition, switched on tree lights, with music from Amersham School Choir, the Amersham Town Band and the Free Church Choir. The 2010 Festival has already been scheduled for December 10.
