The Pevensey Community Action Group have been involved in the following projects:

  • 2003 community wide consultation identifying issues that are important to their community
  • Annual Vintage vehicle event
  • Raising money for Pevensey’s Christmas Lights
  • Environmental Awareness Interpretation sign boards
  • Village Market

The Parish of Pevensey is an all year destination. In summer families and water sports enthusiasts gather on our award-winning beach. Accommodation ranges from caravan/camping sites to quality hotel/B& B. There are plenty of good quality restaurants and pubs. It is an ideal base for exploring nearby tourists areas such as Eastbourne, Hastings, Battle and Rye.

For walkers and nature enthusiasts the Pevensey Marshes are home to several rare species and are a protected wetlands.

For history lovers a visit to Pevensey Castle, The Mint House, and Courthouse must not be missed.
